We build system-level software for Intel's Edge Computing platform. We specialize in system-level software for Intel's edge-computing platform, delivering a high-performance, ultra-low-latency compute foundation for verticals such as education, healthcare, industrial automation, robotics, and NAS. With AI adoption accelerating, we are now driving the rapid deployment of large language models (LLMs) and vision-language models (VLMs) on the same platform.
To expand our efforts, we are recruiting an Edge-Computing Platform Software Development Intern. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with world-class experts, master state-of-the-art technologies, and absorb industry best practices in a relaxed yet challenging environment that offers ample room for personal growth. Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing, implementing, integrating, and performance-tuning LLM/VLM inference stacks on Intel edge devices.
• Developing and optimizing task scheduling, memory access, and data-sharing mechanisms across heterogeneous processors (CPU, GPU, NPU) for AI inference workloads.
Qualifications:
• Master's or Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science, AI, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of Linux kernel/architecture; hands-on experience with process scheduling, memory management, etc.
• Theoretical and practical background in multi-processor coordination in heterogeneous computing environments.
• Familiarity with LLM/VLM application frameworks
• Strong coding skills in C/C++, Python, Go, or Rust; clean, maintainable code is expected.
• Proven problem-solving ability-able to analyze, debug, and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional, English-friendly environment.
