Job Summary:

AECO, a division of Trimble, seeks a Digital Sales Representative to work within the AECO eCommerce sales organization. The goal for this position is to maximize the online sales channel by growing our new acquisition SaaS business and retention business. The Digital Sales Representative will work closely with members of eCommerce Sales, Customer Support, Credit, Marketing, and various cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities will be focused on selling to online customers, helping with purchasing decisions and potential issues, and mitigating risk in our global online channel. Success will be defined by how well the Digital Sales Representative drives new acquisition and retains existing customers in the eCommerce channel.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the AECO sales team to achieve sales goals for both new customer acquisition and existing customer retention within the online sales channel.

  • Use online platforms such as live chat, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and digital tools to source new leads and prospects.

  • Quickly respond to online customer inquiries to increase sales conversions.

  • Communicate daily with customers through various channels, including email, live chat, and phone calls.

  • Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring minimal escalation and high satisfaction.

  • Manage opportunities and leads, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up. Maintain detailed records in Salesforce, ensuring up-to-date customer information and activity.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, operationalize, and execute relevant online promotions to drive financial performance for eCommerce.

  • Help plan promotional strategy with a focus on new and renewal campaigns including abandoned carts, migration campaigns, trial campaigns, winback, and other online targeted promotions and campaigns.

  • Report on eCommerce performance campaigns, including standard KPIs such as conversion rates, page views, abandoned cart rates, customer engagement, and lifetime value metrics.

  • Partner with the analytics team to create new visualizations via business intelligence tools.

  • Stay abreast of trends and innovations in eCommerce to continue to maximize eCommerce sales growth.

  • Directly negotiate with customers to overcome adoption barriers and develop plans to resolve pain points.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improving retention and reducing churn

  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and efficiently navigate multiple business systems, ensuring seamless task completion and operational effectiveness. 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of practical experience in customer service or sales

  • Background in global eCommerce sales, digital sales, SaaS, and platforms. 

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM ideal.

  • Must have previous hands-on experience with customer engagement.

  • Strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving business results, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

  • Keen attention to detail, a high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently.

  • Effective time management, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.

  • Must be a driver of eCommerce change and continuous improvement.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders and customers at various levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and maintain a professional demeanor.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be located within 1 hour from the Westminster office.

  • Must report to the office at least 3 days a week but can work remotely otherwise.

Compensation:  This position is compensated by a combination of base salary plus commission earnings. Trimble provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

  • Hiring Range: 68k-78k OTE +/-
  • Pay Rate Type: Salary + Commission
