How you will make an impact
The Domestic Services team manages the cleaning of each Cabrini facility, including our hospitals located at Malvern and Brighton, as well as our health facilities located at Elsternwick. The Domestic Services Assistant (Cleaner) is responsible for cleaning and maintaining safe and attractive facilities. You will also make a positive difference by joining a leading not-for-profit healthcare service provider.
Key responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and servicing patient rooms and associated areas
Ensuring all equipment is cleaned
Using all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and protocols
Working with other hospital team members to optimise the safety, care, and overall experience of our patients
About you
This role will suit an experienced cleaner with experience gained in a domestic or commercial environment. We are seeking candidates who are available to work across any of our Cabrini facilities, including both morning, afternoon, and night shifts on any day of the week. You will also:
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer/patient service
Display strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to work with a great work ethic
Be an effective team player, with the ability to build positive professional relationships with colleagues
Be self-motivated and reliable with excellent personal presentation
Have well-developed communication skills including proficiency in written and spoken English
Note you will also need to be an Australian citizen, or permanent resident or hold a valid visa with working rights, as well as hold a current Working with Children Check.
