Summary

The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for managing and analyzing manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the organization. This role facilitates manufacturing change orders by collaborating with engineers and technical experts, supporting the preparation, review, and research of complex documentation. The Document Control Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating product documentation within the MRP system, maintaining a strong commitment to quality and customer service. The position requires effective collaboration across all levels of the organization and adaptability in learning new Document Control and MRP functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and control manufacturing documentation to maintain compliance and support production processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to research and resolve complex documentation issues.
  • Facilitate and track manufacturing change orders, ensuring timely and accurate documentation updates.
  • Prepare, review, and revise technical documents and records as needed.
  • Coordinate product documentation and data entry within the MRP system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct research on documentation requirements and support product coordination activities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer service in all document control activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in document control, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Adobe; experience with Excel and Publisher is desirable.
  • Familiarity with MAPICS or Automated Document Control software is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and customer service.
  • US Person Status due to ITAR requirements

  

Salary Range:

$49,300.00-$65,700.000
