Key Responsibilities:

Purpose of the position:

The purpose of the Design Monitoring Evaluation & Learning Coordinator role is to lead transformation on analysis validation and dissemination of information products at World Vision Eswatini. This roles is established to support implementation and rollout of DMEAL tools and processes at sector and Area program (AP) levels. This is also expected to contribute and support research and business development initiatives that will further learning and business acquisitions. This position will report to the Program Development and Quality Lead

Major Responsibilities:

1. Data Management including Quality and, Analysis

·         Gather system requirements, facilitate and/or execute development of required tools and platforms including innovative products to enhance improvements in data management.

·         Facilitate and/or execute system-to-system data extraction transformation and loading processes in response to reporting requirements.

·         Administrate data management systems and support troubleshooting.

·         Develop data insight dashboards to support detection of changes in program performance and data quality.

·         Collaborate with advocacy, communications, and technical teams to adapt dashboards that enhance storytelling and evidence use for decision-making.

·         Inform and support generate and sharing of visual data insights for efficient reporting, dissemination, and detection of program data.

·         Analyse, validate and share data to inform program effectiveness and scalability

·         Support conducting data quality audits and sport checks due for data validation

·         Lead and ensure timely compilation and validation of all reporting products.

·         Contribute to baseline, midline, and end line assessments including the Annual Impact Measurement (AIM) data collection

·         Conduct mentorships and supportive supervision in support of the organization project teams.

·         Collaborate with APs including sector experts for continuous improvements in data quality.

·         Monitor and support implementation /update of data management systems and tools across all TPs including troubleshooting system challenges and direct site level support as required.

2. Reporting, Dissemination, and Information Sharing (Visualization)

·         Lead, coordinate, and innovate on dissemination and information sharing for all reported information products, liaising with communications and advocacy.

·         Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors and internal stakeholders.

·         Support the development of donor-specific M&E frameworks and indicators.

·         Support proposal development through data-informed insights such as baseline data and needs assessments.

·         Innovate for improved , efficient access to information at all levels of program management.

3. Learning, Reflection, and Capacity Strengthening

·         Train field staff and partners on M&E tools and processes.

·         Facilitate trainings and mentorships across all TP and AP level program officers: creating understating of the M&E procedures and processes including introduction of new systems and technologies and their related implications to the technical team.

·         Facilitate learning and reflection sessions with communities and field teams.

·         Support field teams in using data for planning and field-level decision-making.

4. Evidence Generation for Advocacy and Communications

·         Collaborate with advocacy and communications to document stories of impact at the field level and during project proposal development.

·         Support development of advocacy briefs and abstracts from data generated through WV systems.

·         Contribute to the documentation of success stories and data visualizations for donor, internal, and external stakeholder engagement.

·         Support and/or conduct research aligned todefined areas of  program implementation and development.

·         Facilitate learning and reflection sessions with communities and field teams.

·         Collaborate with technical and advocacy teams to translate data insights into actionable learning and adaptation

5. Program Design and Grant Management

·         Support program design and participate in program-level strategic platforms.

·         Participate in proposal development by providing evidence and data insights.

·         Provide strategic information to enable effective Area Program design

·         Support engagements on rollout of the integrated program framework (IPF)

·         Support the development of donor-specific M&E frameworks, tools, and indicators.

·         Support grant reporting and management to ensure compliance and quality assurance.

·         Provide focal support to Support Office on information products related to data management.

6. Collaboration and Strategic Alignment

·         Liaise across departments (advocacy, communications, programs, and informatics) to ensure alignment of data, reporting, and storytelling with strategic priorities.

·         Provide support to Support offices(SOs) on data management engagements

·         Provide support to technical sectors on data management , evaluation and learning processes.

·         Support adaptation and rollout of partnership tools and frameworks for management of data.

Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

Professional Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in M&E or program quality.

  • Familiarity with digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox).

  • Demonstrated expertise in utilization of learning platforms for helping others learn.

  • Qualitative and/or quantitative research and evaluation skills, including but not limited to study design, survey instrument design and use, establishing and measuring outcome and process indicators, sampling, data analysis plans, data cleaning, and statistical analysis.

  • Experience and competencies data analysis using appropriate software tools (e.g. SPSS, SAS).

  • Good technical/impact report writing skills.

  • A Degree in Social Sciences, Information  Communication Technology(ICT), Data Science, Development Studies or related field  from a recognized University in a relevant discipline, potentially including public health, development, M&E, statistics, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills & Abilities:

o   Understanding of the basic concepts of Design Monitoring Evaluation & Learning (DMEAL)

o   Knowledge and understanding of data management and analysis tools including Kobo, SPSS, PowerBI, STATA. SAS, R .

o   Good understanding of basic computer skills including use of the Microsoft package

o   Knowledge of the data flow processes and troubleshooting requirements.

o   Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all staff and other key partners

o   Demonstrated ability in leadership and team building

o   Good planning , and organizational skills.

 

 Working Environment / Conditions:

  • Work environment:  50% Office-based with travel to the field

  • Travel: 50 % Domestic/international travel is required.
