Job Summary

The District Manager is responsible for leading the west region sales organization to achieve revenue and margin goals. This role involves strategic planning, pipeline and deal management, performance coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Coverage

  • Develops targeted business plans and allocates resources to optimize sales performance.

  • Collaborates across teams to prioritize and direct resource utilization.

Account & Pipeline Management

  • Aligns tactical account plans with corporate strategy.

  • Oversees pipeline health, ensuring a balanced mix of short- and long-term opportunities.

  • Analyzes win/loss ratios and forecasts accurately.

Deal & Opportunity Management

  • Reviews and validates deals for operational soundness.

  • Ensures strategic deal planning and execution.

Leadership & Coaching

  • Models effective selling techniques and supports teams in closing deals.

  • Manages performance across teams, providing coaching and development.

  • Leads through change and transitions effectively.

Strategic Sales Planning

  • Develops and implements sales strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Uses competitive intelligence to inform account planning and counter strategies.

Client Engagement & Consultative Selling

  • Builds and maintains executive-level relationships.

  • Coaches teams on consultative selling to align solutions with client needs.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitors and improves sales operations for alignment with business direction.

  • Manages budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.

Talent Development & Workforce Planning

  • Recruits, trains, and develops sales talent.

  • Plans workforce needs and succession strategies.

Industry & Market Insight

  • Maintains deep understanding of industry trends and client challenges.

  • Positions company solutions effectively within client contexts.

Education

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 8 to12+ years in sales, with 5+ years in management.

  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $215,000 to $338,850 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix [Input the correct salary/incentive mix numbers based on the role]. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
