The Distribution Technician I has successfully completed 90 days as a trainee in Distribution. He/she has scored a 100% on the Distribution Technician I exam and has fulfilled the requirements as outlined on the assessment. A Distribution Technician I prepares clinical material for distribution to investigator sites or depots related to customer’s pharmaceutical clinical trials in a cGMP environment. He/She requires minimal supervision from their leadership team to perform their job tasks and assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
▪ Picks, packs and verifies shipment requests per SOPs and Clinical Material Distribution Instructions. ▪ Updates inventory records. ▪ Prepares carrier waybill, shipping label, and schedules carrier pick-up. ▪ Loads supplies to and from common carriers or company truck. ▪ Operates company forklift truck, pallet jack, hand truck, etc. Conducts daily service inspections as required ▪ Follows all applicable cGMPs, FDA, DEA, OSHA, and IATA Regulations, and ISO guidelines. ▪ Maintains a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all safety standards. ▪ Collaborates with other team members and managers to solve work-related problems. ▪ Coordinates with internal customers (Logistics Client Services, Project Management, Quality Control/Assurance, etc.) to ensure a smooth and high quality workflow. ▪ Communicates effectively with both internal and external contacts ▪ Achieves expected performance measures ▪ Maintain a clean quality record.

▪ High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. ▪ 1-2 years’ experience in shipping and warehousing, pharmaceutical and international preferred. ▪ Demonstrated ability to work in supply chain management, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet critical timelines. ▪ Strong oral and written communication skill to communicate with the team, peers, management, and external contacts. ▪ Ability to interpret cGMPs, FDA, DEA, OSHA, and IATA Regulations, and ISO guidelines. ▪ Knowledge of both domestic and international shipping methods and shipping documentation. ▪ Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Project, and Excel
Language Skills:
Strong ability to read, write and comprehend the English language. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the company. Good interpersonal skills.
Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Project, and Excel. Experience with SAP is desirable.

Environmental Conditions
