Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Distribution Manager 1 in our Promontory, Utah offices.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following:
Supervises employees assigned to various distribution jobs such as shipping and receiving, stock control, picking and packing, and storage in one or several distribution centers.
Acts as logistics facilitator to ensure all elements of the distribution process are coordinated in such a way that customer requirements and time constraints are met.
May include responsibility for customer service, distribution of samples, and promotional literature, domestic and/or international shipping, and/or administering safety programs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relatable business experience or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4 years of relatable experience
A minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
Previous experience in Supply Chain
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with MRP systems
Knowledge and applicable experience of lean principles
Experience in tracking and reporting status
Personal drive for process improvements

This position is a standard 4-10 schedule. Example: Mon-Thursday 10hr days.
Primary Level Salary Range: $84,300.00 - $126,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
