Agropur is looking for a Distribution and Logistics Cost Analyst to join its team in St-Hubert.


The Distribution and Logistics Cost Analyst plays a key role in optimizing the profitability of logistics operations. You will transform data into actionable insights, develop smart tools, and help assess the financial impact of operational decisions.

The Distribution and Logistics Cost Analyst is responsible for allocating costs related to distribution, transportation, and warehousing, and ensures that tools and standard costs are kept up to date.

  • Salary scale 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.)

What this role involves:

Cost Modeling and Strategy

  • Design, improve, and maintain cost allocation models for distribution, transportation, warehousing, and pickup operations in Canada and the U.S.

  • Integrate forward-looking scenarios to simulate the impact of changes in logistics networks and guide business decisions.

  • Collaborate with the Finance – Distribution and Logistics team to establish standard cost assumptions.

Decision Support Tools Development

  • Create and improve cost tracking and visualization tools for internal partners (sales, commercial finance, category teams).

  • Proactively update standard costs and explain variances to strengthen transparency and understanding.

  • Contribute to implementing innovative solutions with the Center of Excellence, aligned with continuous process improvement.

Analysis and Profitability

  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions, particularly for client bids or changes in logistics flows.

  • Simulate and assess the financial impacts of operational changes and make recommendations to optimize profitability.

  • Ensure data integrity in profitability systems and cost repositories to guarantee reliable and consistent information.

What you need to join our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • CPA designation (an asset)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in cost analysis or manufacturing finance

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • SAP knowledge (an asset)

  • Excellent communication, simplification, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively

  • Bilingualism (English and French)
