Director/Senior Manager Project Management: Clinical Research/Laboratory

We are currently seeking a Director, Project Management to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Director, Project Management at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that advance clinical research initiatives. You will contribute to the successful management of cross-functional teams and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Driving the development and execution of project management strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in clinical trial operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project deliverables and to remove roadblocks; manage project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Overseeing project teams, monitoring project progress, managing risks, and implementing solutions to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Providing strategic guidance on project prioritization by the VP, risks, stakeholder communication, and alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Establishing partnerships with external stakeholders to facilitate project success and share best practices in project management.
  • Driving excellence and efficiency in the PM function by managing processes, driving process improvements and managing/mitigating risks
  • Supporting business growth through revenue management processes and business development support
  • Managing resources within the PM function and supporting talent acquisition, talent management, and performance management

Your Profile:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, business administration, or project management.
  • Extensive experience in project management within the clinical research or healthcare sectors.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Clinical Research/ Laboratory. 
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change in a complex organization.
