Job Description:

INTRODUCTION

In this position you will provide administrative, operations, and program support to the Behavioral Health Director’s Office – primarily the Chief of Staff, Legislative and Budget coordination team, and the Office of Strategic Operations in service to the mission, vision and values of the Behavioral Health Division. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating meetings, workgroups, and project schedules in support of the BHD Director’s Office. You will focus is on facilitating cohesive communication, collaboration, issue resolution, and coordination.

This includes participating in team meetings and assuming responsibility for the completion of follow up, which involves researching, analyzing, evaluating, collecting, organizing, assembling, preparing reports, incorporating information for special projects, making recommendations for action, and implementing recommendations approved by leadership, such as administrative support, monitoring and coordination of legislative session and bill implementation activities.

You will also assist in the design, implementation, and sustainability of key initiatives and projects by developing and updating spreadsheets and tracking tools through research and data synthesis, assessment, and comprehensive documentation with a focus on interpreting and evaluating laws, rules, policies, procedures to assure operational alignment and compliance.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.

Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis.

OR

An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis.

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced working environment, managing different assignments simultaneously to completion.
