About The Role:
We are seeking a Director, Global Sales Regional Revenue Accounting Support to join our finance leadership team. To establish a globally consistent, collaborative, and seamless revenue accounting support function, acting as a one-stop shop for sales, deal desk, and finance teams. Our vision is to enable scalable growth, mitigate risk, and deliver confidence in revenue reporting across all regions. Help drive scalable growth, minimizing risk, and ensuring transparent, accurate financial reporting. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Revenue Accounting teams across multiple regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC). This role will provide regional contract support, technical accounting guidance under ASC 606, finance analytics, and escalation management, ensuring global consistency while tailoring support to regional business needs.
The role will be an individual contributor/leader of a lean elite team, and will act as a regional lead, collaborating with global peers under the guidance of the Global Revenue Accounting leadership team.
What You'll Do:
Ensure comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition policy, including Falcon Flex program and other go-to-market initiatives.
Provide real-time guidance on revenue recognition and accounting policies.
Gatekeeper of company policy, ensuring deals are accounted for in accordance with ASC 606, including review and evaluation of non-standard terms and collaboration with legal.
Deal Structuring and Contract Review:
Provide deal structuring support to ensure compliant and profitable deals.
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure deals are structured in accordance with company policies.
Data Analytics Expertise Support:
Provide data analytics support to sales teams, including insights on deal performance (NPACV, ARR, etc.).
Develop and maintain regional dashboards and analytics.
Month-end Close Support:
Provide support during month-end close, including recon review and other operational needs.
Support SOX Compliance in relevant key controls execution.
Collaboration & Escalation:
Provide training; bridge global revenue policy and regional practice.
Support the global QTC function in maintaining playbooks and templates; share best practices; provide clear escalation pathways.
Key Metrics for Success:
Accuracy: full compliance in the Company’s revenue recognition policy.
Timeliness: ≥99% of deal reviews completed within SLA (24 hours, complex deal 48 hours).
Consistency: Standardized application of ASC 606 guidance across regions.
Escalation: Time to resolution tracked & reduced quarter over quarter.
Stakeholder Feedback: Positive ratings from Sales, Deal Desk, and Finance partners.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in technical accounting, revenue recognition, or audit, with SaaS/technology industry background.
Deep expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS contract structures.
Proven ability to partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A teams.
Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate complex guidance into actionable advice.
Self-starter, comfortable in a global, matrixed environment.
