About the Role:
CrowdStrike's IT organization is seeking an exceptional Principal of IT & Cyber TechOps to drive investment accountability and strategic cost management across our global technology landscape. This role will be instrumental in shaping our technology investment strategy and governance while serving as the primary liaison between Technology and Finance leadership. The position requires deep financial acumen combined with strong technical understanding to drive measurable value from technology investments while maintaining innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive strategic technology investment planning and governance frameworks

  • Partner with CIO, CISO and technology leaders on investment decisions and cost optimization

  • Lead cross-functional alignment between Technology and Finance organizations

  • Design and implement FinOps operating models and best practices

  • Develop cost allocation and chargeback models for technology services

  • Build executive-level reporting and analytics for technology investments

  • Champion FinOps culture and practices across IT & Cyber teams

  • Orchestrate cloud economics and optimization programs

  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven investment insights


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field

  • 15+ years of experience in Technology Finance, TechOps, or FinOps

  • Expert-level proficiency in cloud economics (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Strong experience in technology financial modeling and analysis

  • Excellence in executive presentation and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical teams

  • Experience managing large-scale technical operation transformations

  • Track record of implementing successful governance frameworks

  • Strong understanding of technology cost structures


Bonus Points:

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree

  • FinOps Certified Professional or Practitioner certification

  • Experience in high-growth technology organizations

  • Proficiency with FinOps platforms and tools

  • Track record of leading cloud optimization initiatives

  • Board-level presentation experience

  • Experience in cybersecurity industry

  • Strong background in technology investment strategy

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $170,000 - $260,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
