Director, Information Messaging

Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing IQVIA’s overall value story and messaging for IQVIA’s information portfolio. This candidate will leverage a combination of internal and external channels to synthesize market trends, voice of the customer, and competitive messaging to develop a library of messaging and related materials that clearly articulate IQVIA’s information value proposition across our customer segments. 
This individual is passionate about storytelling in away that resonates with our customers. In addition, this individual is experienced in evolving concepts to storyboards, to highly visual presentation materials. Finally, this individual must have experience working with cross functional teams and a track record of delivering sales materials, including, but not limited to, thought leadership presentations, product training presentation, product fact sheets, and competitive profiles. 


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of IQVIA’s Information value story in collaboration with Product Strategy and go to market leads, including overall storyboard, content development, and companion materials for story training.
  • Build and maintain a roadmap for identifying additional versions of the information value story and associated release schedules.
  • Craft talking points and related materials that formulate IQVIA’s response to industry events and product releases.
  • Maintain IQVIA’s library of support materials for individual information products, ensuring that they are up to date and reflective of the latest features as well as properly connected to the themes of the overall information value story.
  • Work with the broader Information Solutions organization to collect and publish featured content in the monthly internal Information Messaging newsletter.
  • Partner with Product Strategy leads to drive and execute regular customer advisory board sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Life Science, Business Management, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical, or related industry, with marketing, communications, and/or sales enablement experience
  • Direct experience with key stakeholder management (in primary operating segments defined above) is a plus.
  • Equal proficiency as a self-starter and team contributor, partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including proficiency in writing, PPT development and delivery, and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics.
  • Strong team leadership skills, including a passion for team culture and development.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Very strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $107,900.00 - $300,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
