About the Role:

Remitly is scaling its Product General Management (PGM) function to accelerate customer-centric growth and optimize long-term business outcomes across our global footprint. As a Vice President within the PGM job family, you will lead one of Remitly's most strategic and complex portfolios—owning both the Product and the full P&L accountability across multiple corridors and customer segments.

You will act as a product and business leader, shaping strategy, drive execution, and daily operations in partnership with senior cross-functional teams. Your mandate includes translating business goals into integrated strategies across product, marketing, compliance, analytics, and pricing. You will also serve as a key voice in company planning, helping set both near-term execution priorities and long-term (3+ year) strategy.

You Will:

  • Own the strategy, vision, and performance for a significant business segment, balancing customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business sustainability.
  • Translate business goals into cohesive initiatives across product, pricing, marketing, operations, and compliance.
  • Develop annual strategies and OKRs for your area, with end-to-end ownership of delivery and performance.
  • Craft the product vision and roadmap, sequencing both large-scale features and bold 0–1 bets.
  • Apply deep customer empathy to generate hypotheses, identify pain points, and improve product experiences and marketing funnels.
  • Analyze data to understand drivers of customer acquisition, retention, and unit economics—and take decisive action based on insights.
  • Build business cases and influence roadmaps with product, marketing, and regional partners.
  • Identify regulatory and operational risks, ensuring alignment with internal controls and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, representing your portfolio in executive forums, planning cycles, and business reviews.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 7 years leading consumer-facing lending, card, or wallet products.
  • A proven record of building, launching, and iterating successful financial products at scale.
  • Deep expertise in credit products, financial regulations, and the evolving competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience leveraging data to inform high-impact product decisions.
  • Curiosity and a passion for solving complex business and technical problems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels and across functions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer empathy and user-centered product development.
  • Experience operating autonomously and making decisions in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
