What You’ll Do

Authentic Live is seeking a high-performing induvial to grow global experiences sponsorship revenue and execute our go-to-market strategy. We’re looking for a dynamic team player who will thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere as part of this high-priority business line. The Director, Global Partnership Sales will support the development, strategy, and execution of sponsorship sales initiatives across our robust sports, lifestyle, and entertainment portfolio. This executive will be responsible for driving new revenue streams, creating value for our brand partners, and delivering impactful, innovative sponsorship programs. Authentic Live offers turnkey solutions for branded experiences that drive awareness and exceed expectations. Our experiences show up at the most prominent moments across sports, music, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, and culture. As Director, you will be part of the team identifying and pitching potential sponsors, ultimately delivering revenue to Authentic Live.

 

What you’ll be working on

  • Revenue Generation: Identify, prospect, and secure new high-value sponsorship deals across sports and entertainment properties, with a focus on event fee commitments, maximizing revenue for the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with high-level brand decision-makers, agencies, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, brand, PR/comms, legal, and other internal departments to ensure successful execution of sponsorship agreements and deliverables.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets to capitalize on sponsorship opportunities.
  • Client Proposals: Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals to clients, showcasing value and alignment with their brand objectives.
  • Support Sales Strategy: Implement comprehensive sponsorship sales strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand partnerships.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Continuously evolve sponsorship offerings to include innovative and engaging activations that enhance fan and customer experiences.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on sponsorship sales performance metrics and ensure targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
  • Mentorship: This is an individual contributor role, that will also help mentor the Sales Specialist. The Sales Specialist supports the full Sponsorship team.

 

Must Haves

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in sponsorship sales, with a focus on sports and/or entertainment. Proven track record of securing multi-year, six-figure, and seven figure, sponsorship deals.
  • Ability to manage complex consultative sales cycles.
  • Rolodex and Network: Extensive network of relationships with brand executives and decision-makers in relevant industries.
  • Possesses a keen understanding of events and the value they provide to sponsors.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong understanding of market research, data analytics, and performance measurement in sponsorship sales.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.

Primary Location Salary Range:

$150,000 - $170,000
