What is the Opportunity?

This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of the bank’s digital transformation. As Director of Digital Strategy, Performance and Analytics, you will help shape the strategic direction of RBC’s digital ecosystem, drive performance measurement, and translate insights into action. You’ll serve as a strategic integrator—aligning cross-functional initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making, and acting as chief of staff for key digital engagements. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building scalable, client-centric solutions.

What Will the Successful Candidate Do?

  • Lead the development and consolidation of digital strategy, OKRs, and performance reporting.

  • Act as chief of staff for digital leadership—driving agendas, preparing executive materials, and ensuring alignment across initiatives.

  • Oversee teams translating analytics and insights into product innovation and measurable outcomes.

  • Monitor product performance against strategic goals and ensure continuous optimization.

  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

  • Track emerging industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic pivots and maintain competitive advantage.

  • Assess feasibility and value of new digital initiatives. Present compelling business cases to secure executive buy-in.

  • Partner with Lines of Business, Mega-Journeys, and Functional teams to embed digital goals into enterprise strategy.

  • Ensure initiatives are client-aligned and deliver tangible value across channels

What is Needed to Succeed?

  • 7+ years of experience in digital strategy, transformation, or analytics leadership—preferably in financial services or a similarly complex industry.

  • Strong command of performance frameworks (OKRs, KPIs), strategic planning, and executive reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of digital product development, client experience, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication, synthesis, and storytelling skills—able to translate complexity into clarity.

  • Strategic mindset with operational rigor—comfortable navigating ambiguity while driving measurable outcomes.

Nice to Have?

  • Masters Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy and/or Digital Transformation

  • Experience with competitive intelligence, market analysis, and innovation pipelines
