Position Overview
The Director for Corporate and Product Finance will build, grow and develop a world-class FP&A team in Bengaluru, making it an integral part of the overall Autodesk Corporate and Product Finance organization. This India FP&A team will own critical strategic finance deliverables, standard finance outputs, core reports, and ad-hoc analytics spanning product & platform strategic finance, G&A finance, Corporate FP&A and M&A integration domains across the breadth of the Autodesk business in AEC, manufacturing and media & entertainment. In addition, this FP&A team orchestrates core FP&A processes, such as headcount/spend management, forecasting, close and planning.
As the site leader for Corporate and Product Finance in India, the right candidate will demonstrate the ability to hire and develop high-performing talent. In addition, the Director for Corporate and Product Finance leads the centralization, standardization of core FP&A processes, as well as partners with the Finance Technology team in implementing FP&A process automation and productivity enhancements using AI tools. The leader will be collaborating with other finance leaders in FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, and investor relations.
Responsibilities
Corporate and Product Finance site leadership: Hire and develop top talent across multiple FP&A domains. Develop community of high-performing FP&A professionals embracing the Autodesk One Orbit culture. Manage finance and business stakeholders who consume the deliverables of this team.
FP&A leadership: Create insightful and impactful deliverables across product & platform strategic finance, G&A finance, Corporate FP&A and M&A integration domains. For example, this includes top line and ARR, product unit economics, P&L, long-range planning, headcount, spend, Board content, CEO-staff content.
Process transformation: Lead the centralization and standardization of processes across FP&A domains, e.g. spend & headcount management, top line reporting, product unit economics reporting, P&L forecasting, company financial planning, P&L close.
Automation: Define business requirements and collaborate with the local Finance Technology team to automate processes and deliverables, as well as establish dashboards to self-service reporting needs. Lead the adoption of AI tools to increase productivity and insight generation of our FP&A team.
Lead team: Attract, retain and develop a team of top performing finance professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience in strategic finance roles, especially in financial planning & analysis, ideally at a large public software company
Extensive experience in product/go-to-market strategic finance and corporate FP&A
Proven track record in partnering with senior business executives on top-line and investment topics
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Accounting, Economics; MBA preferred
Background in management consulting preferred
Strong accounting and financial planning process and systems leadership experience with a proven track record of excelling in high-performance, analytic and data-driven cultures
Skilled at working across multiple levels, including high level strategy and insights thinking to disciplined processes leadership of complex planning cycles
Solution-driven, innovative, and creative mindset
Zero-defect and principles-first mindset
Proven track record of financial systems, process & tools improvement/automation
Strong people leader with a demonstrated track record of building & elevating high performing teams
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively & influence across all levels of leadership
Ability to travel at 10-20% of the time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, expect to be in the office several times per week on average. Must be residing Bengaluru with the ability and desire to come to our EGL office. No remote workers (i.e. living outside of Bengaluru).
