The Estimates team delivers high-quality Consensus Estimates, Actuals, and Guidance information that helps our clients make confident decisions. The team analyzes research reports and company documents to gather forecasted and actual figures, then produces meaningful consensus data. This process combines automated and manual methods, with automation supporting manual data collection. All data collection is backed by a strong quality assurance system, including automated checks during data entry and regular automated queries on updated information.
The Center of Excellence Lead focuses on enhancing operations, processes, and tools by identifying efficiencies through data-driven, LEAN-based, multiple LLM engagements and automation-led strategies. Their goal is to improve turnaround times, maintain high quality standards, and expand coverage within the cluster.
The Impact:
The alignment of similar data assets (domains) within clusters in Content Operations has created an immediate need to centralize key capabilities to support scalability and flexibility, while also improving resource use. This position will be part of the E&MD cluster and will work closely with cluster and operations leads to coordinate and implement scalable solutions, best practices, and frameworks that add value to the business. Achieving business goals and building strategic connections with stakeholders will be important for success in this role. Candidates with knowledge of automation solutions, reporting frameworks, workflow design, and experience deploying complex, time-sensitive solutions at medium or large scale may be well suited for this position.

The Lead will work across various data domains, initiatives, and assets within the Data Operations team. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting S&P Global Corporate EDO initiatives related to data assets, workflows, and technology capabilities that help our customers make informed decisions in different segments while enhancing our operational processes.
As we advance our data deliverables for clients, this role will have the chance to drive client-focused initiatives by improving datasets and transforming operational methods. The Lead will refine value streams, integrate synchronized datasets, and utilize synergies to improve internal operations and increase value for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Improve & standardize the business processes & workflows through scalable & agile operational excellence approach, process improvement solutions across data operations cluster.
Spotlight the efficiency improvement opportunities through process-, data-mining techniques & implement robust solutions through connecting strategic data/content objectives to cluster-specific initiatives.
Lead & partner the evolving mechanisms, transformation program to enrich the data offering, operational standards while collaborating with external vendors, data transformation, technology, and data management teams.
Ensures harmonization of best practices of coverage standardization & comprehensiveness, quality measurement, vendor contracts, reporting & analytics within a cluster.
Partner with vertical Ops head to standardize the resource management, productivity measurement, quality control & governance approaches.
Proactively collaborate with AI Ops & other Leads to implement & accomplish Ops-Tech Collaboration goals & drive the culture of “connectedness” across datasets.
Act as ‘go-to’ person for leading, coordinating project management & governance; working closely with the Ops Leads to define the roadmap/contours of the exact responsibilities/accountabilities to drive max business value.
What we’re looking for:
Over 12 years of relevant experience, with a total experience up to 15 years.
Comprehensive functional knowledge and a strong understanding of how current processes, datasets, workflows, tools, applications, automation solutions, reporting platforms, and third-party vendors are interconnected for Estimates at CIQ and VA.
Proven ability to lead independently in situations without direction and to find creative solutions to unexpected challenges.
Adaptable to working across all time zones and skilled at coordinating with global offices.
Excellent collaborator with cross-functional, global stakeholders, capable of influencing decisions by analyzing data trends and employee behaviors.
Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change, including running POCs for new approaches or solutions related to scalable automation, reporting, and quality initiatives, and implementing them at the cluster level.
Experience managing operations for multiple datasets for over two years, with an understanding of overall domain linkages and deliverables.
Experience with core projects deployed for domains, supported by Lean and automation expertise, is preferred.
