Ping Identity is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Alliances & Channels Director to lead our Americas Regional Alliance Team. Reporting to the VP of Alliances & Channels, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our partner ecosystem across the region. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, fostering strong partner relationships, and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Alliance Managers, ensuring their continuous growth and success.
  • Develop and execute the Americas alliances and channels strategy, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Drive significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships, focusing on expanding market reach and solution adoption.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including system integrators, technology partners, and resellers.
  • Implement robust operational processes for reporting, sales analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members and lead detailed business reviews by region to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly results and ensure the team consistently delivers against quota.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and professional services teams to ensure partner success and overall business alignment.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential partners to expand Ping Identity's presence in the Americas.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales and/or channel management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role directly managing sales or alliance teams and consistently delivering against quota.
  • Deep understanding and experience within the security and Identity and Access Management (IDAM) ecosystem.
  • Strong operational command, with demonstrated experience in reporting, sales analysis, and performance management.
  • High business acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics, develop strategic plans, and drive execution.
  • Proven ability to accurately forecast sales, manage a pipeline, and consistently achieve quarterly targets.
  • Experience in coaching, developing, and managing a team with a focus on weekly one-on-one meetings and detailed business reviews.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required.



Salary: 

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
