Digital UI Designer - Commerce Web

Job Description

As a UI Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design responsive desktop and mobile experiences for Agilent’s corporate website. You are innovative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating clear, user-friendly digital experiences. This role will have an emphasis on ecommerce designs on Agilent.com, and will work in close collaboration with a UX designer and a development team.

This role operates on a US West Coast time schedule to align with team collaboration and project workflows.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and designers to create user-centered solutions that meet business and technical goals.

  • Turn approved test concepts into production-ready UIs with accurate Figma files, style specs, and assets.

  • Design responsive, visually engaging interfaces for desktop and mobile B2B/B2C commerce.

  • Apply and refine the Agilent Design System for consistent typography, color, branding, and imagery.

  • Build wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale.

  • Solve complex problems with clean, intuitive design solutions that improve user experience.

  • Evolve and document design system tokens, components, and patterns for scalable consistency.

  • Advocate for design best practices and contribute to the digital style guide.

  • Keep up with UI trends, tools, and technologies to deliver modern design solutions.

  • Engage in Agile workflows, including discovery, planning, testing, and post-launch design support.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of UI or visual design experience for B2B/B2C websites or web applications.

  • Knowledge of responsive web and mobile design principles.

  • Deliver pixel-perfect designs with precision in alignment, typography, and responsiveness.

  • Experience designing for B2B and B2C commerce platforms.

  • Proficient in Figma; Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.

  • Familiar with design systems, reusable components, and design patterns.

  • Understanding of web development concepts and cross-platform design.

  • Strong visual design skills and awareness of user interaction.

  • Effective problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Keynote, FigJam, or Miro for ideation and presentation.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum with tools like JIRA.

  • Ability to create journey maps, lead brainstorming sessions, and generate strategic design ideas.

  • Understanding of web optimization and cross-browser compatibility.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
