About The Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, producing, and managing engaging digital content across multiple platforms to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support business objectives. This role involves creating high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate combines creativity with strong technical and storytelling skills, staying ahead of digital trends to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and aligned with the brand.
Key focus areas include content development and execution, social media management, graphic design, and multimedia production.
What You’ll Do
Content Development: Writing, editing, and producing engaging digital content for web, email, and social media platforms.
Social Media Management: Creating and scheduling posts, managing engagement, and tracking performance across platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook.
Brand Storytelling: Creating compelling narratives that align with the brand.
Graphic Design & Multimedia: Creating and editing videos.
Proofreading: Paying attention to detail, grammar, and consistency across all written materials.
Management of company website and social media accounts.
What You’ll Need for Success
Post-secondary education from an accredited community college, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Up to three years of related experience in digital content creation, marketing, or communications.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and video creation.
Experience working with Sitecore and Dynamics 365 is an asset.
Knowledge of web development and digital best practices is an asset.
