We are looking for a Digital Factory Specialist (m/f) in Getafe to join our Industrial System Design and Modelling for Digital Twin (OMID) team at the earliest possible start date.

The development and deployment of Digital Twins of our aircrafts, industrial systems and customer services is seen as one of the main pillars to succeed in this transformation. The aeronautical Industrial Digital Twins (IDT) are dynamic digital representations of aeronautical industrial systems elements (facilities, production means, logistics and transportation mean, operators...), which can be used to design and operate the aeronautical industrial system at high performance, without jeopardizing quality and safety.

Main tasks and accountabilities:
We work in close collaboration with all Airbus Plants to define, develop, deploy and mature industrial solutions to address aircraft manufacturing challenges. We provide new processes, methods and tools (including Industrial Systems Design, Modelling and Simulation) to improve and predict our industrial performance.
As Digital Factory Specialist specialized in industrial flow simulation, you will be part of the multi-functional team (MFT), supporting the co-development of the product, industrial system and services, out-of-cycle developments, with a focus on Modelling & Simulation as well as full lifecycle digital continuity.
• You will be an industrial system engineer in charge of flow modelization within that multi-functional team of industrial system engineers, industrial architects, process engineers and process performance engineers with a strong focus on discrete event solutions
• You will be in charge of defining and deploying this part of digital twin capabilities on existing & future Aircraft projects, in order to change the ways of working of the Industrial Community and ensure the best future industrial performance
• You will create best practices by delivering flow models for Industrialization.
Required skills and experience:
• University degree in mechanical, industrial engineering, business informatics or in a similar field of study
• Proficient experience in industrial modelling and simulation techniques and discrete event tools (e.g. Plant simulation/Anylogic)
• Proven experience in industrialization projects (new/incremental development, major industrial change) and industrial system design activities
• Project management experience (including Agile)
• Ability to lead change, deal with transformation processes in an international environment and to manage and influence stakeholders
• Experience in aircraft product development processes, collaborative design for manufacturing, and systems engineering (requirement management, validation & verification, system architecture...) is a plus
• Understanding of Lean principles and implementation of Lean strategies is a plus
• Language skills: English (negotiation level)
