Capita Pensions Solutions are looking for a Digital Engagement Executive to join their team.

You will be supporting the digital engagement agenda for Teachers’ Pensions, optimising our digital proposition. The core focus will be the delivery of digital materials, campaigns and maintaining our online presence with the broader objective of improving outcome measures for the Scheme and our client the Department for Education.

**Please note this role will be working on an account that is expected to transfer to a new provider under TUPE in May 2026.

Job Description:

What you will do:

  • Work within a team of engagement professionals
  • Support the Head of Engagement and Engagement Managers with reports, articles, data requests and general marketing support as needed.
  • Raising awareness and assisting in driving online traffic, visitor conversion and brand awareness.
  • Assisting with the marketing and development of our online presence.
  • Analysing, monitoring and reporting of the Teachers’ Pensions website.
  • Providing copywriting support to the marketing team with all online marketing material for internal and external purposes.
  • Extracting and manipulating data for use in segmented email campaigns.
  • Implementing email campaigns.
  • Optimising key pages within the site for SEO.
  • Working with external agencies to enhance user experience and develop online campaigns.
  • Editing of artwork for online marketing campaigns / materials for internal and external use.
  • Assist the delivery of the web content plan.
  • Deputise for the Digital Engagement Manager when required.
  • Effectively communicate all relevant updates to the team using the most effective communication channels. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and/or clients.
  • Support a client focused culture in the team and ensure that continuous improvement and excellent customer experience are at the heart of all activity.
  • Actively represent the team in department and company activities and projects, and engage the team in discussions and plans

What we are looking for:

  • You will support the engagement team in areas that include, personalisation, segmentation, automated communications, content management, event management, email and SMS tools, campaign-specific web developments, and App integration so will need strong IT skills and able to navigate systems

  • Competent in using excel at an advanced level including using formulas - this will be tested at interview stage

  • Google analytics experience would be advantageous

  • Experience in a pensions environment would assist further with the understanding of the terminology used and processes involved

  • You can demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to articulate information in front of stakeholders

  • You must be analytical and be comfortable defining and reviewing customer journeys
