Xtrackers by DWS is one of Europe’s leading providers of high-quality passive investment solutions. Offering efficient exposure to diversified indices and single commodities, Xtrackers ETFs and ETCs serve as reliable tools for effective portfolio allocation across wrappers.
The Xtrackers Digital Distribution EMEA Team is responsible for driving growth across retail-focused investment platforms, including online and neo-brokers, robo-advisors, and other self-directed channels. Working closely with local sales teams and cross-functional partners in Client Coverage, Marketing, Product, and more, the team aims to expand Xtrackers’ strategic footprint and brand visibility across digital channels in EMEA. Currently, Xtrackers maintains 41 strategic partnerships with digital platforms and is actively expanding this network.
Role Details:
As a Senior Distribution Sales Specialist you will (be):
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our digital distribution efforts across EMEA North, including the UK, Nordics, Benelux, and Baltics. This role will be instrumental in scaling our digital partnerships and enhancing our retail presence.
Drive strategic initiatives to expand the number of digital distribution partnerships across several EMEA North regions.
Collaborate closely with the central Digital Distribution team in Frankfurt and local Xtrackers sales teams to identify and execute partnership opportunities.
Lead and manage retail ETF campaigns (e.g., savings plans, free-buy promotions), and negotiate long-term agreements with digital platforms to drive net new assets (NNA).
Develop and deliver impactful ETF content and educational initiatives (e.g., webinars, podcasts, videos) in close collaboration with the Xtrackers Marketing team to boost brand awareness and retail investor engagement.
Structure and present new business opportunities to Xtrackers senior management and key stakeholders.
We are looking for:
Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of dedicated ETF sales experience.
Proven track record in working with self-directed investment platforms (e.g., online/neo brokers).
Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem and digital distribution landscape.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Solid experience in structuring business cases and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Fluent in English and German.
Quick comprehension, analytical mindset, and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
High level of initiative, independence, and assertiveness.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word; Access is a plus).
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.

DWS’ Hybrid Working model in the UK is designed to find the right balance between in-person collaboration and engagement in the office, which is core to our working culture, and working from home. Employees who wish to sign-up to our Hybrid Working model are required to work in the office two days a week, and given the flexibility to work from home for the remaining three.
