Business Overview

At Fidelity, our Creative Services team is dedicated to delivering exceptional brand experiences across every touchpoint. We believe in the power of visual storytelling to engage, inform, and inspire our audiences—investors, advisors, and colleagues alike. As we expand our marketing efforts, we’re looking for a talented Senior Motion Designer to help bring our brand to life through dynamic motion graphics and animation.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Motion Designer, you will play a pivotal role in elevating Fidelity’s visual communications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging animated content for events, videos, digital platforms, and social media. Your expertise in motion design will help us deliver impactful stories, enhance brand engagement, and set new standards for creative excellence.

What you will do

  • Execute creative motion solutions in line with Brand Guidelines while ensuring all motion design work meets AODA accessibility standards, adhering to UX standards and deliverables are error-free.
  • Gather feedback and requirements from key stakeholders while collaborating with content owners and stakeholders to translate ideas and research into engaging animated solutions.
  • Working within Marketing, support the delivery of Fidelity’s value proposition, solutions, and insights through
  • compelling motion graphics and visual effects that align with campaign objectives but also reflect Fidelity’s brand identity and differentiate our business lines.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to produce motion graphics for websites, marketing emails, landing pages, video, presentations, event signage, and social media. Collaborating with the Production team to address pre-and post-production issues and coordinate project execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends in motion design and animation, contributing innovative ideas for new concepts while maintaining our brand standards.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience producing motion graphics for websites, online tools, and email marketing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Motion Design & Animation including proficiency with latest AI tools aiding in image
  • generation and prompting syntax is an asset.
  • Adobe After Effects / Premiere Pro / Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.
  • Storyboarding & Concept Development.
  • Project Management & Collaboration.
  • Time Management & Organization.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing animated assets for events, social media, display banners, and short-form video ads.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for motion graphics.
  • Ability to translate complex data and concepts into engaging animated visuals.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and openness to creative direction and feedback.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum requirements: 5+ years or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated design experience within corporate and/or agency environment.
  • College degree (3-year program).
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated design experience within corporate and/or agency environment.
  • Experience in digital design and U/X design in websites and apps.
  • Experience with animation, i.e. motion and video graphics.
  • Experience producing advertising assets e.g. social media posts,
    display banners, short form video ads.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office necessary.
  • Experience leading large scale design projects.
