So, what’s the role all about?

The Workstream DevOps Engineer operates as an embedded member of a specific development team while remaining closely aligned with the broader DevOps organization. This role focuses on enabling reliable, automated delivery of the team’s applications through infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational excellence. You will serve as the bridge between development and platform, ensuring that team deliverables meet production-grade standards for security, scalability, and supportability.

How will you make an impact?

  • Define and enforce automated quality, security, and release gates to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Partner with developers to establish code quality and performance metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with platform and architecture teams to adopt and develop DevOps best practices across all workstreams.
  • Manage and support the team’s build, release, and source control systems (GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve system reliability, scalability, and incident response within production and non-production environments.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and help implement preventive improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives led by the central DevOps organization.
  • Perform maintenance, upgrades, and occasional after-hours support as needed.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, clear communication, and alignment with company values and policies at all times.

  • Deep expertise in one or more of the following domains:
  • Networking: DNS, SSL/TLS, Load Balancing, IPv4 subnetting, Firewalls
  • Voice over IP (VoIP): SIP, SBCs, QoS, signaling protocols, security
