The MBP team at FIS is composed of cross-functional experts in product management, architecture, engineering, design, and client delivery. They are responsible for developing and maintaining the platform’s core and extended components, driving innovation, and supporting clients.
What you will be doing
As a Design and Usability Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, functional, and user-friendly software interfaces that enhance customer productivity and satisfaction across MBP applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and user needs.
Lead design strategy from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the FIS brand and usability standards, and the FIS UX framework.
Translate complex user needs and pain points into impactful design solutions using design thinking.
Create wireframes and prototypes in Figma to visualize ideas and communicate concepts effectively. Create design specification documents for the development team to map the UX design to the applicable framework components.
Collaborate with stakeholders including product managers, engineers, and business teams to develop cohesive solutions. Lead the MBP UX Design Forum, drive decisions, and document, schedule, and review UX enhancement requests.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product experience.
Participate in design quality reviews throughout the development cycle, demonstrate new features to stakeholders, and contribute to the Center of Excellence (CoE) through workshops and shared resources.

Design leadership: Ability to guide design strategy from concept to completion, including wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing.
Problem-solving skills: Translate complex user pain points and business needs into impactful design solutions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, other designers, and business stakeholders to align design with goals.
Rapid prototyping: Quickly visualize and iterate on design ideas using tools like Figma.
Design thinking fluency: Apply structured approaches to innovation and user research.
Technical and Professional Skills
8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in fintech or enterprise-scale platforms.
Strong grasp of responsive design, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and localization support.
Familiarity with internal design systems and modern UI patterns.
Experience with usability testing and performance validation.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
Bonus if you have
Experience working with remote teams.
Familiarity with financial domain challenges and regulatory constraints.
Strong communication skills to engage with customers and senior leadership.
