Location & Schedule

This position reports on site at the Republic Plaza building located at 370 17th St., Denver, CO 80202, Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

What You'll Do

As the Deputy District Attorney duties will include:

  • Managing a Domestic Violence docket within the Domestic Violence Unit and meeting with survivors and family members
  • Appearing in court on assigned docket days, partnering with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies to successfully serve survivors and build criminal cases
  • Assisting victims of domestic violence and their families through the criminal justice system
  • Performing other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney

Required Minimum Qualifications

We realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications:

  • Education requirement: Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree
  • Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience as an attorney of law with experience in Domestic Violence
  • Education/Experience Equivalency: No substitution of experience for education is permitted.
  • License/Certifications: Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court at the time of application
