Role Purpose; As a Demand Planner, you are not only accountable for delivering accurate demand forecasts and securing supply – you are a strategic business partner who drives alignment across functions, connects insights to action, and helps translate commercial ambition into operational reality.

You bring together stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Suppliers to enable growth, manage risk, and create value along the end-to-end supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted planning partner to Commercial, Marketing and Finance by translating market insights, promotional activities and financial goals into a robust demand forecast

  • Lead collaborative forecasting processes (e.g. S&OP / IBP), aligning cross-functional stakeholders and proactively managing forecast variances

  • Facilitate scenario planning and risk mitigation strategies with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure high service levels and supply continuity

  • Partner with Logistics and Manufacturing to balance demand, inventory and capacity in the most efficient way

  • Own and manage the End-to-End planning cycle, from statistical forecast generation to final demand consensus and supply confirmation

  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, tools and processes in collaboration Process Excellence teams

  • Translate data into clear recommendations, influencing decisions at multiple levels of the organization

  • Serve as the “voice of planning” in commercial and operational forums, ensuring supply chain considerations are embedded early in business decisions

  • Build strong relationships across the value chain and act as a bridge between strategy and execution

What You Bring

  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or a related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in demand planning, supply planning or integrated business planning

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset

  • Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships and positively influence decisions without direct authority

  • Solid understanding of End-to-End supply chain processes and their impact on business performance

  • Proficiency in planning tools (e.g. SAP) and Excel/Power BI

  • Excellent communication skills in English (German a plus)
