Job Summary

    The Delivery Director, RPO builds committed, trusting relationships with clients, peers, and leadership, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic delivery and client partnership. This role leads the strategic relationship with assigned clients, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, operational plans, and performance goals. The Delivery Director provides oversight and guidance to Operations Managers, who lead recruiting teams, and collaborates with RPO Leadership to achieve placement and revenue objectives. They manage the overall P&L for assigned accounts and ensure operational excellence through strategic planning and client engagement.

    Leadership Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to Operations Managers to ensure delivery teams meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
    • Communicate roles, responsibilities, and priorities clearly to Operations Managers and hold them accountable for execution against the operations plan.
    • Instill a customer-focused mindset and sense of urgency across all service teams.
    • Facilitate leadership meetings or training sessions to cascade strategic updates, process changes, and performance improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor account-level performance metrics and collaborate with Operations Managers to develop strategies for overcoming obstacles and achieving revenue-based targets.
    • Analyze monthly financial statements and implement strategies to increase profitability.
    • Ensure full compliance with contractual agreements and operational standards.
    • Leverage corporate resources, policies, and structure to optimize account performance and return on investment.

    Business Development Responsibilities

    • Maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business, industry trends, and strategic priorities.
    • Cultivate strong client relationships through proactive communication, site visits, and strategic discussions to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with RPO Leadership to resolve escalated client issues and maintain long-term service excellence.
    • Identify opportunities to expand service lines, generate referrals, and increase revenue through consultative engagement.
    • Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews (scorecards) to clients, highlighting performance, achievements, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, and other AMN divisions) to drive candidate flow and client engagement.
    • Stay informed on healthcare workforce trends, RPO market developments, and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.

    Qualifications

    Education & Years of Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 15+ years of work experience

    Minimum Experience

    • 4 years of healthcare recruiting experience
    • 1 year of healthcare recruiting leadership experience
    • Account management experience managing a book of business of $2.5M+

    Preferred Experience

    • RPO experience
    • Experience working as a registered nurse or allied health professional
    • Health system talent acquisition experience
    • Strategic account management experience

    Work Environment / Physical Requirements

    • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
    • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

      Pay Rate

      $99,500 - $124,000 Salary

      Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
