Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a DC Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator. If you have familiarity and experience in multiple core warehouse functions, coupled with a commitment to phenomenal customer service, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, aside from performing general warehouse functions, this position will also include the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the department
  • Assist in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly department goals
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues
  • Assist in training and motivating subordinates to improve current performance
  • Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by finding opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, quality, and/or reduce costs while championing related initiatives
  • Works with team to ensure department is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred. A successful Warehouse Associate will possess the following:

  • 3 years plus warehouse experience
  • Has proven the ability to train others
  • Fully proficient in multiple core warehouse functions
  • Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
  • Product knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Strong organization skills and leadership qualities to take and give team direction

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $22.61

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
