The Position

As a Data Scientist in Post Market Quality (PMQ), you will have the opportunity to help develop complex data science projects to gain insights to improve products and customer experiences. 

Desired education and professional experience:

  • BSc/BA/Masters studies in Data Science, Applied Data Science, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or relevant field  

  • Applicants with BSc/BA/Masters in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field will be considered

  • Proficiency in English

Competencies:

  • Applying statistical modeling, machine learning, LLM, exploratory, and confirmatory data analysis in mid to large volume data sets. 

  • Experience with Tableau, Thoughtspot, or any other BI tools; familiarity with SQL, Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, Redshift, etc.), database (Snowflake), table design joins, data aggregation, data validation, etc.

  • Strong programming experience with R, Python, and/or other quantitative software. 

  • Understanding of Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Modeling, ETL and the ability to mine new data sources.

  • Experience in project management / Agile in defining and executing digital strategies:

  • Co-lead / manage cross-functional teams in the data-driven healthcare ecosystem for customer feedback and post-market surveillance, and foster a digital culture

  • Design and develop digital solutions of patient-centered digital business models for patient safety and product enhancements

  • Identify mechanisms for security, interoperability, compliance and information protection legislation with Advanced Analytics use cases (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO27001, CSV)

In this role, you will:


You will identify valuable data sources and variables and enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems:

  • Pre-process and cleanse structured and unstructured data, and verify the integrity, accuracy and completeness of data used for analysis

  • Employ analytical, machine learning and statistical methods to prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling

  • Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms

  • Interpret the data to discover solutions and opportunities

  • Communicate predictions and findings to management through effective data visualizations and reports

  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

  • Co-lead / manage and influence cross-functional teams in the design of projects and solutions focused on patient safety and product care
