Data Quality Analyst

The Data Quality Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across Inmar’s Healthcare integrations. As part of the Healthcare Technical Operations Team, this role is responsible for monitoring data flows, identifying anomalies, and developing dashboards that provide actionable insights into data health and compliance. The Data Quality Analyst collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Excellence teams to ensure data accuracy, improve process visibility, and proactively mitigate risks that could impact client operations.

This position supports DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) and other compliance-driven integrations by validating data transactions, monitoring serialized file exchanges, and developing automated reporting tools that strengthen operational compliance and client trust.

This role also enhances Client Excellence’s ability to deliver transparent, data-driven communication to clients, improving trust, retention, and proactive engagement.

This is a hybrid position located in Winston Salem, NC

The Data Quality Analyst ensures the reliability and accuracy of data powering Healthcare client operations. By analyzing integration data, detecting anomalies, and developing dashboards, this role turns data into actionable insights that drive proactive support and compliance assurance. Through close collaboration with Technical Operations, Product, and Engineering, the Data Quality Analyst enables consistent, compliant, and data-informed client experiences.

Primary Accountabilities:

Data Monitoring and Analysis (45%)

      Monitor daily data exchanges and integrations across multiple Healthcare products to ensure accuracy and completeness.

      Analyze integration data to detect trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights to reduce client risk.

      Validate data quality for DSCSA and compliance-related file exchanges, including EPCIS and serialized transactions.

      Collaborate with Technical Operations and Engineering teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Reporting and Visualization (35%)

      Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize data health, integration performance, adoption metrics, and compliance status for both internal and client use.

      Deliver adoption, utilization, and system health reporting that informs proactive engagement from Client Excellence.

      Create alerts and monitoring scripts that flag data issues, helping teams respond before client impact occurs.

      Partner with leadership to define KPIs for integration accuracy, data latency, and system reliability.

Process Improvement and Collaboration (20%)

      Collaborate with Implementation Specialists, Engineers, and cross-functional partners to enhance data validation processes.

      Document recurring data issues and contribute to the development of improved data management standards.

      Participate in root cause analysis sessions and drive recommendations for automation and process optimization.

      Support the development of long-term data observability strategies within Healthcare Technical Operations.

Required Qualifications:

 

       Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

       2–4 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data operations roles.

       Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

        

       Familiarity with data exchange methods (AS2, SFTP, APIs) and basic understanding of ETL concepts.

       Demonstrated ability to identify data issues, analyze trends, and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

       Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple monitoring and reporting tasks.

       Experience working in a regulated or compliance-oriented environment (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, or DSCSA).

Preferred Qualifications:

 

       Experience developing or maintaining automated data quality checks or data observability tools.

       Proficiency with Python, R, or scripting languages for data analysis.

       Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Snowflake).

       Exposure to data governance, master data management, or audit compliance reporting.

       Experience working cross-functionally with technical and client-facing teams.
