Job Description:
The Order Entry Clerk I is responsible for receiving, entering, and shipping customer orders. The primary duties and responsibilities will be to perform work in accordance with the essential job activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, enter and process customer orders
- Process scrap orders
- Disposition and distribution of denied warranties and customer approved orders
- Daily log updates
- Production reporting
- Assist with training as needed
- Identify, assist, and troubleshoot with technicians, management and customers with order investigations as needed
- Sort and distribute incoming product
- Ship confirmation of orders
- Assist with denied warranties as needed
- Practice 6S and safety
- Take appropriate action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction
- Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School or GED diploma required
- Experience in shipping and receiving required (prefer experience in manufacturing)
- Basic math skill and computer skills required
- Excellent 10 key and typing skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
