About the Role

As Zenni continues to grow, we are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong technical foundation to join our Data Engineering team. This role is central to building analytics systems that empower a data-driven organization. You will help unlock data visibility across the company, deliver key performance metrics to all levels of leadership, and develop data models that optimize business decisions.

You’ll work across multiple business domains including Finance, Customer Service, Inventory, Supply Chain, and more to leverage enriched datasets that drive measurable business impact. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone passionate about using data to enable smarter decisions and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep, data-driven analyses to support business decision-making and process optimization across multiple domains.
  • Serve as a domain expert from a data perspective, identifying key opportunities to drive growth through analytics and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Finance, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, CRM, UX, and Leadership - to define, prioritize, and deliver data analytics projects aligned with business goals.
  • Design and maintain data models to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and usability for company-wide reporting and analysis.
  • Develop forecasting and predictive analytics solutions that empower leadership to make strategic, informed decisions.
  • Support end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, implementation, and quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and deep experience with modern data technologies (e.g., Fivetran, Databricks, dbt, Looker, Reverse ETL).
  • Proficiency in Python, including use of ML libraries such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Strong background in data modeling and building scalable analytical solutions.
  • Familiarity with common analytical and statistical methods (e.g., A/B testing, regression, classification, clustering, time series modeling, recommender systems, Bayesian modeling).
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Demonstrated success in end-to-end project ownership, from concept through delivery.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • A passion for using data to solve complex problems and drive measurable business impact.

Compensation

In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $84,500 - $98,500 CAD. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
