As a Cybersecurity Analyst - Business Continuity at Cleveland Clinic, you will perform all necessary duties to strengthen the resilience posture of clinical departments and business units across the enterprise by assessing disruptive impact to patient care, financial health of Cleveland Clinic, day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and Cleveland Clinic’s reputation. In this role you will provide guidance through resilience planning processes to ensure continuity of patient care and operations affected by impacts from disruptive events, including the loss of supplier products and/or services. Assist in developing multi-year strategies to meet operational and business objectives. This role may also perform monitoring, incident response, or recovery tracking activities. Collaborating with Cybersecurity peers on projects and assisting with the direction of the Cybersecurity program. 

A caregiver in this position works remotely Monday - Friday 8:00am—5:00pm EST.   

A caregiver who excels in this role will:    

  • Participates in Cybersecurity projects, including planning, obtaining customer input, and projecting resource requirements. 

  • Reviews operational requirements with customers and translates requirements into specific functions or deliverables. 

  • Participates in continuity planning sessions to ensure resilience for clinical departments and business units by mitigating disruptive events 

  • Assists with multi-year strategic planning to ensure operational alignment between team, community, and organization objectives 

  • Assists with tracking planning requirements and goals 

  • Conducts impact assessments that focus on critical functions and feed into actionable plans 

  • Analyzes flow chart processes and recommends ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:     

  • High School Diploma/GED: A minimum of 3 years of transportation management systems, payment management systems, and other systems that map shipping routes. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum of 1 year transportation management systems, payment management systems, and other systems that map shipping routes 

  • Participate in conversations while taking notes as needed. 

  • Possessing strong critical thinking skills are essential to identify and capture relevant information during discussions with stakeholders. 

  • Requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers or stakeholders to support open communication and effective collaboration on impact assessments, planning, and incident response and recovery. 

  • Engage in active listening skills to recognize and include relevant details in various continuity-related products. 

  • Be capable of analyzing data across critical functions, plan types, and impact analysis results to map dependencies accurately. 

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date. 

Complexity of Work: 

  • Strong analytical, administrative, presentation, and project management skills are required. 

  • Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    

  • Certifications from SysAdmin, Audit, Network and Security Institute (SANS), International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) or Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) or other position related certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
