Position Overview:
Join Finning and make an impact as a Customer Support Centre Representative (CSCR). This position offers:
• A dynamic role as the first point of contact for internal and external customers.

As a CSCR, you’ll manage incoming calls, coordinate safety check-ins, and provide timely support using multiple systems and tools.
Job Description:
- Answer incoming calls, assess caller needs, and accurately redirect using corporate tools and resources.
- Monitor weather alerts and communicate updates to affected personnel.
- Manage employee safety check-ins (SPOT), including scheduling, tracking, and escalation protocols.
- Process service rework calls and generate reports for internal teams.
- Retrieve and store service letters and magazines from SIS for internal access.
- Fulfill literature requests after hours using the Midland ordering portal.
- Update corporate directory entries in FINBRP to ensure accurate contact information.
- Use internal systems (SalesLink, Salesforce, Aware360, Finning.com, Workday) to support customer inquiries.
- Handle executive-level calls with discretion and professionalism.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Respond promptly to high-volume calls in a 24/7 environment.
- Monitor and escalate safety alerts and emergency notifications.
- Maintain accurate records of SPOT check-ins and incident reports.
- Support internal teams with service rework and literature requests.
- Update and verify contact information in corporate directories.
- Navigate multiple platforms to resolve inquiries efficiently.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school diploma (Grade 12).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, 24/7 environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable navigating multiple platforms and managing sensitive information.
- Must have the ability to work from home.
Important:
- This role will be based out of our North Calgary location.
- Temporary, full time role for 6 months with possibility for extension.
- Night/Overnight and Weekend shift. Overnight shifts will be worked from home.
