Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on technical professional to support pre- and post-sales engagements. This individual will act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle and transition into a technical account manager post-sale after the Hypori Delivery team has onboarded the customer. The role ensures successful transitions, adoption, and long-term customer value and retention.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Executives and GTM resources to deliver technical product presentations and demos, ensuring a successful Technical Evaluation process.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, architecture, and constraints.
  • Develop solution designs, security recommendations, and integration plans.
  • Manage technical evaluations, including Proof of Concept (POC) planning and execution.
  • Address RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical objections.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver customer feedback.

Post-Sales Responsibilities:

  • Available for post sales support including implementation support of customers.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact post-sale for assigned customers.
  • Guide customers through full solution utilization post-deployment handover.
  • Conduct technical QBRs and support the Customer Support team with ongoing engagement.
  • Track and report on customer adoption, technical issues, and support escalations.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally while ensuring alignment with Hypori’s platform and roadmap.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of iOS and Android mobile operating systems.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Enterprise Device Management (EDM) solutions.
  • Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, KVM, or Virtual Desktop and Virtual Apps environments.
  • Familiarity with core networking concepts including routing, switching, firewalls, and web filtering.
  • Knowledge of network security principles including DoD/GOV standards, STIGs, IDS/IPS, and multi-factor authentication.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical account management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software, cybersecurity, or secure mobility solutions.
  • Must be clearable or have had federal level clearance previously (*will be important in 5Eyes deals and NATO).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT, networking, identity, and security architectures.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC, or Zero Trust frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, organization, and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to apply engineering or technology principles to product sales and solution design.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with sound judgment and timely decision-making.
  • High integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • U.S. citizenship required (role supports federal customers).
