Culture and Engagement Intern - Winter 2026

Detroit, MI Part time

As a Culture and Engagement Intern at Rocket Companies, you'll make a meaningful impact by providing crucial support to team members during times of need. You will work closely with Business Program Managers to manage day-to-day operations of key programs. This role offers unique opportunities to contribute to team member experience initiatives, while developing valuable skills in empathy, communication, and program coordination.

About the role

  • Process incoming requests with attention to detail and compassion

  • Coordinate condolence flowers and gifts for team members experiencing difficult times

  • Send awareness emails to impacted team members' leadership and support teams

  • Process program requests to provide timely assistance to team members in need

  • Coordinate gift cards and other means of support for team members facing challenging life circumstances

  • Reach out to leaders to follow up on milestone anniversary e-card completion

  • Support additional culture-building initiatives

About you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated empathy and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, event planning, or administrative support

  • Familiarity with HR systems and processes

  • Interest in employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives

  • Experience coordinating projects or events
