Role Purpose

Howden is embarking on an exciting global CRM transformation, unifying our platforms into a single, enterprise-wide Salesforce solution. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of CRM across our organisation — driving adoption, engagement, and measurable business value on a global scale.

As Salesforce Product Owner, you will lead the development and delivery of Howden’s global Salesforce roadmap, ensuring the platform not only meets business needs but is embraced by users across regions. You will champion adoption through effective stakeholder collaboration, training, and communication, fostering a culture of consistent, data-driven client engagement.

Working closely with the Howden Client Programme team and stakeholders worldwide, you will manage a small team and play a key role in delivering our digital transformation vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary product owner for Salesforce CRM, defining and managing the global roadmap to align with strategic objectives.

  • Lead the migration from legacy CRM systems to Salesforce, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit.

  • Drive user adoption and engagement through effective communication, training, and support initiatives.

  • Partner with regional teams to understand sales and client management needs, delivering scalable, user-focused solutions.

  • Oversee platform governance, data integrity, and compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Promote standardisation and best practice through reusable templates and components.

  • Deliver core CRM capabilities including lead management, opportunity tracking, reporting, and workflow automation.

  • Monitor adoption, usage, and business outcomes to demonstrate value and inform continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Data Governance, and Information Security teams to maintain regulatory alignment.

  • Manage vendor relationships and external consultants supporting the Salesforce programme.

  • Contribute to the global digital transformation strategy, ensuring Salesforce underpins Howden’s growth and client-centric vision.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 8+ years’ experience in product ownership, CRM transformation, or enterprise platform delivery.

  • Proven track record in global Salesforce implementations and migrations from legacy systems.

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).

  • Experience in governance, compliance, and risk management in data-driven environments.

  • Skilled in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and roadmap delivery.

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management across global teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and a pragmatic mindset.

  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
