Salary: £24,243 - £28,930

Contract type / hours: Permanent, 37 Hours

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Navigator with a Criminal Justice focus to join the team. 

The team provides support and advice for individuals in a variety of Criminal Justice settings who are experiencing problematic substance use, to promote harm reduction, encourage ownership and promote positive change for the individual, their families, and the wider community.

In a multi-disciplinary approach working with partner agencies such as the Police, Probation, the Learning and Diversion team, Prisons, and many others, you will provide a targeted approach for service users, from harm reduction, brief interventions through to structured treatment, ensuring that every recovery journey is tailored to the individuals’ priorities.

About You

Experience of working in this field is not essential however applicants will be asked to demonstrate an understanding of the wider issues surrounding substance misuse and some understanding of the criminal justice system.

Driving license preferred but not essential.
