Position Overview:

Responsible for ensuring that Sutter Ambulatory Clinicians are properly enrolled with all contracted payors, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance companies. This role involves managing the enrollment process, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Additionally, the specialist will manage and maintain EPIC claims work queues related to provider payor enrollment, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of claims.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of medical provider credentialing and accreditation principles, processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of computer spreadsheets and other related applications.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
  • PC skills (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access) and proficiency regarding data entry skills.
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize, problem solve and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and draw inferences from research findings, and prepare reports.
  • Able to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
  • Ability to analyze data/reports and to make recommendations

Pay Range is $32.36 to $46.93 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
