Mō te tūranga | About the Role

  • The purpose of the Process Craft Specialist is to help mature and embed best practice process methodologies through the definition, entrenchment and continuous improvement of best practice methodologies, frameworks, tools, techniques, minimum standards and governance processes
  • The role works across Westpac New Zealand to grow and curate organisational knowledge in order to improve business wide performance. From understanding current state performance, through to using technical Process Mining skills to identify opportunities for improvement, this role will help guide Westpac to deliver on its key strategies. 
  • The Craft Specialist will provide specialist consultancy and coaching across Westpac while ensuring existing knowledge remains accurate and enduring. 
  • The Craft Specialist will proactively identify opportunities to optimise team delivery efficiency and quality for both the core team as well as the wider Westpac community.
  • The Craft Specialist will engage internally and externally to ensure the Westpac Value Chains operate effectively to deliver value for our customer. 
  • The Craft Specialist will build and maintain tools and capability that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of team performance

  • Expert experience with process with demonstrable impacts as a result of your coaching, capability and leadership skills
  • A highly technical mindset with experience in technical development (Power BI, Power Platform Apps) and maintenance
  • Strong experience with BPMN modelling standards
  • A consulting mindset with a can do attitude
  • 10 + years’ experience in leading change across organisations
