The Opportunity:
As a Cost Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for executing operational tasks related to Manufacturing Accounting, Standard Costing, and Inventory Valuation for the Americas Roche Services and Solutions Operations site in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Executing month-end close activities, including manual journal entry preparation.
Managing standard costing processes and ensure data quality.
Conducting complex accounting analyses and audits related to manufacturing and supply chain accounting.
Acting as a key contact for affiliates regarding accounting and reporting topics.
Preparing reports and commentary on significant financial matters.
Investigating accounts such as inventory, variances, and allowances, recommending actions as needed.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Accounting, including Standard Costing and Inventory Valuation.
Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and experience with SAP (FI, CO/PA, MM, PP).
Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Fluency in English
