Corporate Giving Program Manager

The Corporate Giving Program Manager is a dual role that will be responsible for overseeing and managing internal and external community relations activities that strengthen the reputation of the Cobb EMC Foundation and Gas South. This role is responsible for coordinating programs, managing events, drafting communications, and executing the grantmaking process, ensuring operational excellence for the Cobb EMC Foundation. This role will also collaborate and assist in managing internal and external relationships for both companies, including the Cobb EMC Boards, to deliver high-quality community impact.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Program & Event Coordination --
  • Support the planning and execution of philanthropic programs and community events, including logistics, scheduling, and internal and external communications for both companies.
  • Identify and provide requested marketing assets for company recognition and external communications such as logos, bios, photos and videos for both companies.
  • Assist with grantmaking processes such as nonprofit application intake, due diligence, investment & award notifications, investment monitoring and quarterly impact reporting for both companies.
  • Communications & Stakeholder Engagement --
  • Draft and distribute communications for the Foundation to nonprofit partners, employees, and board members regarding events, grant cycles, and impact stories, providing clear timelines and direction.
  • Prepare materials for the Foundation board meetings, events, and presentations, such as agendas, policies, meeting minutes, financial reports, etc. ensuring all documents are complete, available prior to the meeting and consolidated in the appropriate channels/folders.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and details for the Foundation and its nonprofit partner events, such as Board member attendance, number of tickets/seats, event details, etc., avoiding duplication and ensuring clarity.
  • Draft community content for communications such as newsletters, blogs, emails & social media, coordinating with both company’s Marketing departments.
  • Identify and create an annual event calendar for the Foundation outlining all recognition & attendance requirements and opportunities.
  • Data & Reporting --
  • Compile and analyze Foundation grant applications and requests using Excel and other tools; create summary reports for leadership and Board review.
  • Maintain accurate records of funded nonprofits, including multi-year funding history, and prepare requested lists in the required format for the Foundation.
  • Process Improvement --
  • Identify opportunities to streamline communications, consolidate requests, and improve document management for both companies.
  • Take initiative to anticipate needs of the Board members, proactively gather required information, and ensure all materials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner for the Foundation.
  • Relationship Building --
  • Foster positive relationships with nonprofit partners, board members, and internal teams for both companies.
  • Represent the organization professionally at events and in communications, demonstrating passion and commitment to community impact.

Experience

  • In office requirement: Three days in office per week between companies. Night and Weekend event attendance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit, corporate social responsibility, or event/project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Microsoft TEAMS.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact and engaging in the community.

Physical Requirements

Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.

Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues or external stakeholders, or visiting different departments.

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry material, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, such as when organizing documents or setting up for meetings.

Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.

$81,029$95,328 USD
