As the Legal Recruiting Coordinator you will provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Team and Hiring Partner as requested to attract, recruit and hire highly qualified law students and experienced attorneys to meet the Firm’s needs.
What You’ll Do:
Maintain the recruiting database (LawCruit), including candidate data entry, interview scheduling, reporting, and tracking for lateral and summer associate candidates.
Support the Legal Recruiting Manager in all phases of lateral recruiting, including scheduling, file maintenance, expense processing, correspondence, onboarding coordination, and other administrative and logistical tasks related to recruiting activities for assigned business unit.
Assist with law school and summer associate recruiting, including planning on-campus events, coordinating interviews, supporting hiring committee meetings, and preparing reports and metrics.
Help manage the Summer Program for our Philadelphia and Washington, DC offices—including event logistics, communications, training sessions, work assignments, and tracking.
Coordinate interviews for all candidates: prepare materials and schedules, greet applicants, organize lunches, collect evaluations, and compile summaries.
Draft and distribute offer and rejection letters.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth onboarding for new attorneys and summer associates.
Provide general administrative support to the department, including expense processing, disbursements, tracking subscriptions, and other tasks as needed.
Participate in additional projects as assigned by the Legal Recruiting Team, Director, partners, and committee members
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or law school career services setting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort working with databases and leveraging AI tools responsibly. LawCruit experience a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills; professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel and external contacts.
Discretion in handling confidential information.
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
