Contracts Administrator - ANZ

Job Summary

The Contract Administrator plays a key role in supporting ResMed’s commercial and legal teams by managing contract and tender opportunities, maintaining the lifecycle of any active tenders, and ensuring compliance with internal processes.

This role supports the business to operate efficiently and responsibly by preparing and reviewing basic contract documents, managing procurement and tender submissions, and ensuring that contractual obligations are met. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working cross functionally to ensure that Resmed delivers on it’s commitments.

Let’s talk about responsibilities

  • Across the ANZ Commercial business; facilitate the preparation, review, and coordination of basic contract documents and supporting materials.

  • Assist in drafting and maintaining templates, statements of work, and other standard agreements.

  • Lead the submission of tenders and procurement documents, ensuring all materials are accurate and compliant.

  • Operate as a key point of contact both internally and externally for contract related enquiries.

  • Facilitate contract execution and maintenance within Resmed, this includes monitoring of contract KPI’s and obligations of to ensure all parties meet 100% of their commitments.

  • Track contract lifecycles, including key dates, renewals, and obligations.

  • Maintain organised and accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and approvals.

  • Liaise between a broad array of internal departments to ensure timely review and execution of agreements.

  • Support process improvements to make contract administration more efficient and consistent.

  • Development and maintenance of internal processes and procedures for teams to execute in relation to active contracts.

  • Provide general administrative support for contract-related activities, including preparing reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.

  • Help identify and manage risks or issues in contracts, escalating where needed.

  • Capability to conduct contract reviews to seek opportunity for improved performance or optimisation.

 

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, commerce, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Previous experience in contract administration, preferably from within industry.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Previous project management experience or at a minimum good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively across departments.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a structured way.

  • Working experience with BI solutions such as Cognos and Tableau

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and an interest in learning new systems.

 

Preferred

  • Experience within healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience in high stakes contract negotiations.

  • Familiarity with contract management or document control systems.

  • Understanding of basic legal or procurement principles.

  • A continuous learning attitude and willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in contract management.
