Job Description and Responsibilities
Contracting and Licensing Specialist is responsible for processing, monitoring, maintaining, follow up as well as provide support to all insurance agents contracted or to be contracted under our company. Establishing strong relationships with the incoming agents to attract, retain and motivate them. This specialist is our liaison between insurance carriers and agents. This position reports directly to the Onboarding Supervisor. The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Welcome new and Prospective agents to the company
  • Categorize, scan, and file all agent’s licensing and contracting related documents
  • Register new agents in the HOC Platform
  • Request and Process all contracts request by agents
  • Enter agent contract info into the company’s platform
  • Verify and validate every new contract that is updated on the platform
  • Call the carriers 72 hours after the contract is sent to confirm contract status
  • Follow up until the contract is fully processed and the agent is active and RTS.
  • Reach out to the agent if the contracting links are not completed
  • Process releases accordingly and follow up.
  • Process contracts received, scan and send to carrier accordingly
  • Maintain data in efficient forms, removing old forms and adding updated forms and certifications
  • Monitoring online contracting for completion by the agent
  • Schedule One on One contract completion to ensure proper alignment as needed
  • Process State Certifications for Principal Agent (Susan Carrasco) and assist brokers as needed.
  • Maintain contracts licenses and contracts actives and up to date
  • Assist agents with CMS and AHIP Certification.
  • Schedule One and One Trainings for new agents as needed (Market Place,HOC Platform).
  • Assist Broker Support in coordinating and collaborate with in-house activities for agents development.
  • Work One and one with Sub Agencies to help them instruct and guide their downlines
  • Add newly contracted agents to WhatsApp chats
  • Manage voice and emails and respond them accordingly
