Base salary will be in the range $115,645 - $129,654 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)

The Continuous Improvement Manager plays a key role in driving service excellence and operational efficiency within the Enterprise Applications group. Working closely with the Associate Director, Enterprise Applications and cross-functional stakeholders, this role leads initiatives that optimise systems, processes, and culture through data-driven insights and innovative practices. You’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment focused on delivering measurable, sustainable improvements aligned with the University’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, efficiency, and operational outcomes.
Using data analysis, market research, emerging technologies and best practice insights to identify improvement opportunities and develop implementation plans.
Delivering and maintaining a continuous improvement roadmap and performance reporting framework.
Driving a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement across IT teams.

You will bring:
Postgraduate qualifications in IT, business, or a related field—or extensive relevant experience.
Proven experience delivering measurable efficiency and service gains in complex or fast-paced environments.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, outcome-focused approach.
Strong understanding of Agile development and/or LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively.
Broad knowledge of information technology and experience working in large ERP environments.
Demonstrated expertise in project management, including large-scale initiatives.
Highly desirable: Experience in the Higher Education sector and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner accreditation.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.
